Bobby Taylor is no stranger to the musical field, and he has made his presence know in the city of Boston in many ways. He has been a Boston school bus driver for over 30 years, he has received several awards from the School department along with awards from the City of Boston as well as awards presented by the Boston City Council, Bruce Bolling and chairperson Charles Yancy. His honors were also presented by former Senator Bill Owens and our own Gloria Fox.

Bob is also known for his first record recording "Pretty Baby" and "You Are My Heart" on the Barbara label. He started out in a vocal group as tenor and lead singer with a group known as "The Valeneers" after that time had ran it's course, Bobby moved on to giving record hops as they were called back in the day. Then music went to the"Disco" age Bobby has remained in the music scene and is known as having the best oldies but goodies as well as a variety of music, what ever music your event calls for Bobby will deliver.

Bobby started the Madison Park Sugar Hill annual event back in 1983 and it wa the first sell out crowd ever at the Sky Cap Plaza. The line went from the front door down past Charles Street A.M. E. Church. The Madison Park Sugar Hill event has continued for over 17 years.
